Genetics: Human Aspects

This class emphasizes fundamental genetic principles, and how they apply to individuals within our culture, and to society. Topics include transmission of inherited traits, chromosomal abnormalities, gene structure and function, genes in populations, cancer, genetic engineering, evolution, eugenics and bioethics. Designed for non-science majors; not applicable to the  biology major.
